Most likely yes but really it’s an easy exam. A medical aid will come to you. Either your home or office, at your convince and often it take 45 min OR LESS. The insurance company requires these to help them determine their cost/risk to cover you. Height, weight, BP, urine, blood work are often parts of the exam.
Typically, around 1 month give or take. What happens is we help request your medical records. The insurance company has “underwriters” who review your records. You often have an in-home medical exam by a medical aid, then the companies come back with their final rates to you. Often we have sent your information to a couple insurance companies in order to “shop” the best policy and rates.
This just takes a bit of time…
